That’s because we want faculty members who are active in their fields and bring real-world experience to the classroom.
The University of Phoenix College of Humanities and Sciences offers undergraduate and certificate programs in communication, English, history, and sciences. These programs are developed based on industry standards and are designed to give students a deeper understanding of the world and help them build emotional intelligence skills — also known as soft skills — that today’s employers seek. A degree in humanities helps students gain critical-thinking, collaboration, written and oral communication, digital literacy and interpersonal skills that can be applied to any position in the workforce whereas a degree in science helps students gain highly valued technical skills along with critical social skills.
