TheCollege of Health Professionsseeks a collaborative leader to serve as a community college business partner between campus services and The College. Responsible for collaborating with The College and Institutional leadership to identify and execute strategy within top target, high profile partners.

The ideal candidate will have experience driving market strategies between markets, down specific pathways, and across partners.


  • Creates and maintains effective long-term relationships with the community college systems and districts, partnering with them to create opportunities for students to achieve their educational goals

  • Works collaboratively with UOPX college and school leadership to identify and create pathway opportunities within existing programs for community college students

  • Provides support in the delivery of unified and scalable processes through which client solutions are identified, developed, and executed

  • Presents stakeholders within the community college systems and districts with solutions to support implementation of new pathways and successfully support the long-term aspects of the account relationship

  • Work with assigned campus regions on high value target accounts in assigned markets and actively works to generate articulation agreements with the community colleges within those markets.

  • Works closely with regulatory stakeholders to understand and ensure compliance of state and federal regulations pertaining to the programs and associated pathways

  • Maintains a high level of understanding of both the programs offered by the community college and the programs offered by UOPX and how the community college programs can transition to UOPX programs.

  • Maintains chancellor level (C-level) communication with top target community college systems and districts, as well as the UOPX Executive Deans.

  • Partners with campus leadership in the execution of community college strategy and coordinates local support provided to the community college from internal parties (Enrollment, Student Services, WFS, etc.)

  • Attends events at community colleges to provide support and education on the pathway opportunities offered by UOPX

  • Establishes and communicates effective methodologies, processes, standard policies and procedures, tools, and resources necessary to successfully manage operations.

  • Effectively manages the development of business and/or departmental strategies to increase operational efficiencies and customer satisfaction.

  • Provide necessary training and development for campus services, functional teams and key internal stakeholders

  • Provides support in collaboration with the UOPX Executive Deans for the overarching strategy for the community college sector

  • Performs other duties as assigned


Basic Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree is required from a regionally accredited institution; Master’s degree preferred.

  • At least 4 years of relevant experience required.

  • Must possess high level knowledge of the higher education market and industry.

  • Must possess high level understanding of business, education, technology, counseling, and/or nursing programs of study as they relate to a specific college/school.

  • Must demonstrate a high level of analytical, conceptual, problem solving, and strategic thinking skills to lead the development of, and understand and anticipate the impact of, strategies, goals, objectives, processes, and activities that will cross multiple critical projects.

  • Must have the ability to work collaboratively with all internal and external stakeholders.

  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively, while contributing to a team dynamic.

  • Must demonstrate attention to detail and an ability to coordinate various details and deadlines for successful implementation and support of objectives.

  • Must demonstrate excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Must evidence a commitment to professionalism, quality, and personal ethics.

  • Must be results oriented and be able to execute in a fast-paced and complex environment involving multiple stakeholders, deadlines, conflicting priorities, and simultaneous projects.

  • Must be an innovative thinker able to apply analysis and creativity to problem solving and solutions.

  • Must have a working knowledge of personal software packages to perform word processing and spreadsheet activities and communicate effectively.

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license, as local travel is generally required.

  • Occasional to frequent travel required
